A short film set in the 10th century in the north of Catalonia. Narbona is a girl who falls ill because of the repeated violations of a ruthless Count. Narbona's mother Caterina, claims the help of a witch, called La Vigatana, to save the girl from death. In a small communal society in the heart of the Pyrenees, organized in different family clans, around 1000 AD, a girl named Narbona is affected by a common illness that the new medical and rationalist estates find incurable. Catherine and Patricio, the girl’s parents, demand the help of a healer called La Vigatana, as they had been doing for centuries in the pre-Christian tradition. Through ancestral wisdom and different natural remedies, La Vigatana manages to cure the girl, but in the midst of a pagan festival, the intrusion of the representatives of the new official estates (the Christian priest, the feudal lord and the new landowners), who want to establish a new order based on servitude, execute the healer on the pretext of considering her a witch.

The different characters of the village will position themselves for or against the two worlds, the old ancestral culture linked to nature, and the emergence of Christian evangelization, which will try to destroy the previous polytheistic culture and beliefs. a sick girl who manages to heal thanks to the medicinal knowledge of La Vigatana, will want to avenge her death and join the world of Witches, entering her own motu in the depths of the forest.

At the center of the narrative is the mutating role of women as a source of stigmatization at a time when ecclesiastical and power estates need a scapegoat to concentrate society’s attention so as to soften the recession of rights and the customs of the peasants, now turned into serfs from feudalization in the twelfth century. It is then that the woman, especially one who did not live especially linked to a patriarchal figure (the father, the husband, the brother …), becomes the Witch, a myth artificially created to stay forever in the collective imagination.

Bugarach is a quiet village with a population of 194 situated in southern France. The people live a traditional life with wood exploitation and animal husbandry as the principal business activities. Under normal circumstances, nothing extraordinary ever happens in Bugarach. But the tranquility vanishes when some news reaches people around the world, promulgated through different media such as the New York Times or CNN and spread over the Internet like a virus: “On 21st of December 2012, th world as we know it will end, and Bugarach will be the only place on the planet that will survive the apocalypse.” From this moment on the village witnesses an amazing phenomenon: an ever increasingamount of tourists arrive, new agers, journalists, some hippie communities, sects, speculators and curious onlookers. Housing prices quadruplicate, many neighbors start trading with “esoteric souvenirs” and the village is soon divided in two: the locals and the invadors. 
“Bugarach used to be a beautiful and quiet place but if we do nothing to stop all these people from coming here it will not stay that way. We do not want Bugarach to become a new Lourdes”, says one of the villagers. 
Uranie, a solitary man who lives in a cabin in the mountains, reveals to us that “the aliens will come to Bugarach and they will save all those who dare to jump from the highest mountain peak.” This is why the military plan an intervention in order to avoid overcrowding of people and the possibility of collective suicides. The documentary kicks off on 21 of December 2011, one year before the key date, and it will work like a countdown. The film will follow several persons who are linked by a date that will mark the destiny of their lives while they think about the spiritual crisis that affects the Western world. We will certainly be in Bugarach on the day the world will come to an end…Will you come with us?

On the banks, a man and his dog are sitting peacefully. Alerted by the sound of bleating, they set off to rescue a goat trapped in a pit, before rejoining the herd. As the camera slowly zooms out, we are suddenly transported into another world: a hi-tech laboratory, staffed by people wearing full protective gear. They are busier than usual, working on the development of a vaccine against Covid, with the help of extensive animal testing. An opening lift reveals goats staggering down a corridor, evoking the first, lost goat. In a few minutes and with a skilful and elegant construction, Pau Faus sets the scene, revealing an unusual form of neighbourly relations in a forest on the outskirts of Barcelona: “It’s as if we were living in prehistoric times, while they are in space.” By composing precise shots and with the help of a cheerfully humorous montage, Fauna interweaves the world of humans, animals and science in pandemic times.

Paula, a 14 year old girl, is sent to spend the summer in the town Ojos Negros with her aunt and grandmother, who she barely knows. Trying to escape the oppressive atmosphere, she meets Alicia, a girl of her age, who also stays in town for the summer and with whom she will develop an intense friendship. At the end of the summer Paula will have a glimpse of what it means to grow up.

Max is in his mid-thirties and lives with Emma, his intimate friend. An unexpected news makes lot of doubts and worries grow inside of Max pushing him&#38;nbsp;to go out at midnight. The night she moves is the portrait of a friendship, their breakup and the strange and transforming walk through the night of Barcelona.

This film could be defined as a spontaneous and sincere dramatic comedy. The plot introduces us into the intimate intimacy of Max and Emma to reflect on such absolute issues as friendship, love, relationships and coexistence. The tone that frames the film stands out for its freshness, the casual naturalness and the absurd and fantastic character of the mundane. The style is apparently white and friendly but has a more acidic and far-fetched background that appears as the film progresses and night falls.

The night she moves portrays Max and Emma and with them a conflict and a generational stage: a friendship, a way of feeling and this wandering that characterizes the vital state of today’s youth. Igor is new to his cousin’s group of friends and to almost everything that a person of his age is supposed to have done. As the first night they hang out together is played out through laughter, drinking on the street and the presence of unknown girls, Igor feels like a stranger who doesn’t know how to be himself.
One of the girls, Laura, is quick to catch his attention and that of the rest of the boys, and brings with her the possibility that this somewhat failing party may improve. At the end of the night all that will remain is Laura, the boys and a room in which the party can continue.
At home, although Laura demonstrates control over the rest of the group, the night becomes a competition between the boys to see who can come out on top. Being the one who gets closest to Laura and fitting into the group will force Igor into an ultimately extreme situation. GANG is a journey into group-mentality, impulse, and those experiences that men very often keep quiet, the masculinity that devours us.

Observing the phenomenon from the perspective of our species and analysing its historical and scientific context by listening to the most qualified voices in science, the film delves into the adventure of its promoters and those who have been at the heart of this experiment when the new methods were implemented. Can an education system be successfully changed from the bottom up? Only time will tell, but the seed for rethinking the education of the citizens of the future has come to stay. And it is unstoppable.

Three streetkids wander the streets of Addis Abeba. They try to survive by using their inventiveness, committing minor thefts and supporting each other solidly united.Homesickness, chance and necessity however make them venture a journey towards the north of Ethiopia. A journey during which they will experience unusual adventures before being reunited with their families whom they decided to leave when they were still little. The kids will then have to deal with the fears and memories that have arisen during the trip under the newcircumstances, with the past being vividly present.In Addis Abeba, the Ethiopian capital, over 270.000 street kids live without their parents and almost forgotten by law and society. Daniel, a boy from the countryside, is 9 years old when he arrives in the city. He meets Habtom and Yohannes, both aged 12, who live in an abandoned car. They first don’t want to accept him in their group but after they overcome some initial conflicts they eventually become friends. Together, they share the hard life in the city. They lead adult lives – although they are still children. But they are smart and inventive and manage to survive on petty thefts.
A year passes by. When homesickness, feelings of responsibility and the problems with the rivalling gang of street kids increase to an intolerable level they decide to return to their poor home villages to visit their parents whom they left behind many years ago. Like little stones that are taken away with the river they start the long journey towards the north of the vast and unknown country, by bus, boat, hitchhiking and by foot. Our little heroes meet a girl who is also on her way to reunite with her family. They share some days of friendship and complicity.
However, sexual tensions between the girl and the two older boys soon arise. She tells them her views on the boys’ lives and questions the values they have got used to accept as their own. The girl finally decides to split and continue on her own. Meanwhile we discover more of Daniel’s personality and its ever more complex and darker sides. He confesses having killed his stepmother and that this is the true reason why he is fleeing from Addis Abeba.
The three boys buy expensive presents for their families and then also separate – Daniel and Habtom head towards Habtom’s home village where his mother is awaiting him, Yohannes continues on his own to meet his father. When they finally reach their destinations, they realise that more things have changed since they last saw their parents than they expected.

A dangerous idea has been imposed: Culture’s only purpose is to entertain. It’s a luxury. Why does this place – from the outside – look like a sunny amusement park ? Maybe we have sold ourselves poorly and cheaply. Can we change it, or is it useless? It’s urgent to point the gun at us. If we consider culture as pure entertainment, we’ll be like Pinocchio on the island of pleasure: playing, sleeping and laughing, while we become donkeys that only serve to load stones.

MONTJUÏC CASTLE MUSEUM, BARCELONA (2015)
An audiovisual installation produced by Nanouk Films and the City Council of BarcelonaProduced and directed by Sergi Cameron

This project in the form of a cinematic experiment is the top piece of the Interpretation Centre at Montjuïc Castle. The exhibition portrays the different roles that thecastle played for the city (defender or inquisitor, depending on the time or point of view). In this video, the focus is on the period of the riots and the subsequent bombing of the city in 1842. We chose to use the technique of overlapping real images with prints from that period as well as other techniques such as rotoscoping. Our main objective was to give life to the antique prints by using a visible device. We rigourously respected the historical context, but at the same time created avisual impact on the viewer.

The original prints can be found at the interpretation centre itself, they are part of the permanent exposition inside the courtyard of the Castle, the symbol of the city.



ARCHEOLOGICAL PARK OF CALAFELL (2014)
Conceptualisation, design and construction of the entire town of Calafell musealization. Produced by Nanouk Films (SP), RSB (SP) and U+V Arquitectes&#38;nbsp;(SP) with the financing of the European Regional Development Fund and the City Council of CalafellProduced, directed and supervised by Sergi CameronCommissioned by Antonio Criado


The Archeological Park of Calafell is an exceptional experiment as we have managed to unite art, entertainment, latest technologies, cinematographic and documentary vocation and, last but not least, didactics.Nanouk Films has undertaken the creation of a museum tour in different areas of interest as well as the old town, and has the particularity reading QR points in informational totems, and the ability to view augmented reality places of the past&#38;nbsp; Or what is the same, “print” on the walls and streets of the town objects on reality, illustrations, games, photos or videos, especially designing an app that you can download for Android or mac.

The project also consists of a Dolby 5.1 sound installation at one of the authentic places that were used as shelters in times of war.The museography has been condensed to a feature-length fiction film starring the villagers and with a careful mise en scène which creates a unique feedback between the museum and the community.
Nanouk Films has managed and coordinated the entire design of the muesography, the partial restauration of the walls of the castle and various archeological remains as well as the remodeling of a cinema theatre and the creation of workshop contents for children.

Hace unos meses pasé algunas mañanas en casa de mi amigo y montador Antonio Gómez-Pan. Tengo que destacar una peculiaridad en nuestras jornadas de montaje: una fuerza extraordinaria nos empujaba hacia el salón, meca de la telebasura, el Pro Evolution Soccer y la Marihuana, eliminando en nosotros cualquier atisbo de mala conciencia. Si el break se alargaba hasta la tarde, la magnitud de la dispersión se podía ver claramente afectada por la llegada de Rancho, compañero de piso y de farras, persona de gran corazón, humor gallego y hábitos sedentarios.
En una de esas sesiones de no hacer nada, Antonio me preguntó si quería escuchar unas canciones grabadas con el Garage Band por su hermano Pablo. Y yo entro en modo de alerta: cuando alguien te muestra ilusionado la maqueta de algún ser querido, las probabilidades de escuchar basura son muy altas. Entonces comienza a sonar Poltergeist. Primero una guitarra a lo Neil Young en Dead Man, con una reverb bastante apretada. Luego una voz que me recuerda a las primeras veces que estuché a La Estrella de David. La canción sigue sonando, me voy metiendo, la letra es buena; irónica y política. Está mucho más cerca de la soberbia de un rapero que de la ingenuidad de un cantautor pop convencional, pero sin moverse de los patrones del pop. La canción termina y quiero volver a escucharla.
Antonio me manda más canciones a la semana siguiente. Su hermano Pablo es un músico que no quiere (o eso dice él) dedicarse a la música, pero se ha ido a Londres a estudiar cine y lo único que hace es tocar la guitarra todo el puto día. Pensé que sería justo que esas canciones pudieran quedar registradas en un formato estable, como lo es el cine, y así asegurar su perdurabilidad. Elijo tres canciones, diferentes entre sí pero con el nexo común de la sátira política:
Radiografía de España en tres actos
1- Todos nos llamamos Alí: La família occidental que mira la TV anestesiada, comiendo y disfrutando mientras un niño palestino explota en pedazos. 
2- Algunos hombres buenos: Paco Camps, la corrupción en sí misma. 
3- Poltergeist: El arquetipo del fantasma español.
Y aprovecho que Pablo (más madrileño que los churros), llega de Londres junto a Andrea, para ver si grabamos las canciones. Es la primera vez que tocan en público. Ni en la ducha. Y nos bebemos muchas cervezas. Salió esto. La cámara de 16mm está operada por Iván Castiñeiras en la antigua oficina de Nanouk Films.

&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; A rock is a perfect metaphor, an allegory in volume. When placed it’s sculptural limits beget a kind of artistic proposition — and when considered with reduced anthropomorphism and ungeologically — produce a ready-made analog to the causation and bounds of our attempts at the understanding of all things. 


Here the sculptor has made no concessions; no attempts to curry favor with curators or collectors — pieces wholly outside discourse. And if pressed for an affiliate movement for these “sculptures” (i.e. Cubism, Mannerism, etc.)… perhaps Monism or Cosmogonism? Definitely not Conceptualism or Pataphysics — Actualism?


The analog? Well for sure it is 1:1. Weird; yes — a knot to be admired for it’s curves — not for untying. An emergent surface as thick as it’s mass.&#38;nbsp;

&#38;nbsp; 
Were it possible for the instances of our minds or world events&#38;nbsp;to be mapped and dimensionally materialized, something similar to a rock would appear — areas of smoothness yielding to pockmarked particularities, density shifts and feathered explosions. What really is the shape of a boom town? A pilgrim’s journey? A section of jungle mayhem? A boring era? The silhouette of a father’s cold slap? The contours of a brief, intense friendship? Comfortably we perceive all of these things as ready to be integrated into ledgers or novels or timelines; but really they are queer crags and striations of unimaginable idiosyncrasy.


So yes, the reflective, reasonable yield of our mind has much symmetry (computation, cataloguing, narrativizing, etc.) but it’s actual shape is no shape, but unfolding chaos and singularity visible only to our particular time-scale. Our species-wide symmetries and quantizations are basically improvisations white-labeled onto directionless infinitude attempting the constant creation of navigable Dimension.


So, look intimately at a rock, walk around it, get up close to it, savor it’s complexion and composition as you would any painting or temple and see it as the faultless mirror that it is — a truly perfect sculpture.
